I've attended around 5 festivals so far and this was easily the best one. It had gorgeous venues with dancing till the sun rose again. Great crowd of people and a perfect number of classes without a major overdose of it. All the instructors were great!

Having attended several tango festivals all over the US, I would say that the previous tango festival was better coordinated than this one. The HUB was difficult to find and the floor was slippery. The first serving of food in the Salmon bake was minimal and was told to come back for seconds or third but who would do that when everyone is ready to dance and has to go back on a cue if you want more..The floor on the the Kirkland Pavilion should have been spread with powder. I am not being negative about this but rather giving some suggestions for improvement for the next tango festival. I know that it takes a lot to set up one of this event but kudos to Arturo for doing this.

Lots of lovely dancers from all over. The venues were mixed for me. I love Om Culture and China Harbor as a dance spaces and the Outdoor Salmon Bake was lovely as well. The ballroom on the UW campus was difficult to find and there was almost no signage to point the way which was frustrating, and the floor was slicker than snot making it difficult to dance well. I spent my second evening there sitting and socializing instead of dancing. That particular ballroom notwithstanding I had a wonderful time at this festival and can't wait to attend again next year.
