Beautiful space to spend a Saturday afternoon - relaxed atmosphere, a different live band each week later on in the practica, sun streaming through the windows, and a younger crowd than many other tango events in BsAs. Healthy, inexpensive and fresh food and juices in the cafe downstairs, and tables to gather around and chat with tanguero friends if you feel like a break. And the tango school holds some classes in the afternoon with an "alternative tango" class after the practica teaching some fun moves for those with more modern taste in tango!

The DNI practica is very busy! The space feels a bit like outdoors, with its many levels and open staircases. The practica is full of locals and foreigners. There is always a performance at the practica, such as a dancing or an orchestra. The first time I went to DNI, I was so overwhelmed with happiness that I cried during the orchestra performance. One of the organizers saw me and gave me a hug! :) Very touching.
Note: you have to buzz the door to be let in....and yell "door" to be let out.

DNI.. get there early to dance with DNI dancers,if DNI is your thing.. dancers from other schools with other styles get there by 5:30... level ranges from beginner to intermediate-advance, but good energy throughout.. they also usually play some nuevo stuff... definitely a good place to be on a saturday evening..
